Do you think a Buffy cross Faith girl would look cool?

Well here is your answer!... I don't want to comment because I don't want to be mean :)

BUFFY CROSSED WITH FAITH PICTURE
It's funny too, the story. Who would have thought! :)

Telegraph Uk's Pictures of the year

There are so many cool ones! Lots of crop circles and "Jesus in stuff" pictures...

PICTURES OF THE YEAR 2009

Picture 21 looks kind of like a map and 24.. cool! As for all the Jesus pictures...

Just a Dream

I know this should not probably go here but I just had the most amazingly nice dream! And my hubbie is still sleeping, so I thought I might try and write it down so i don't forget more of it as time passes. It's a little bit funny too because I didn't check the net yesterday for UFO stuff either...

There is a long prelude to the dream, but where it got cool was...
I was on a back porch talking to someone and saw something like the "weather anomaly"that was over Russia a few weeks ago, you know the one that looked like a funny cloud, only what I saw was much smaller and there was a whole lot more fluffing.
I asked the girl I was talking to, to run and get a camera, but then that "cloud", started forming shape, or something started coming out, that's when I started trying to get people in the house etc tape it with their I Phones etc.

I was scared, excited but mostly in awe,.... until there seemed to be all sorts of spaceships suddenly appearing in the air, flying about. They were all different shapes too!
There was one that looked like a big polygon or something, ( I didn't count how many sides but there was a lot) I guess the closest looking is the Dodecahedron, but with more panels, but still the flat top and sides, it was made out of like a flat, non shiny metal or glassy something.(Below)

There was one that looked kind of like a satellite, though the big solar panels were one big huge one that was curved, similar in shape to the Vorlon ship from Babylon 5, but the rear panels were just one huge panel and it looked in appearance to solar panels. And totally not this colour, it was plain and boring.

But there were so many different sorts, and my memory is fading a little bit of it all so I'll get moving along.

They all seemed to be coming towards where we were, at the house, then one was right over us and there were things being thrown up in the air just in the back yard, like a trail, but you could see nothing other than like a air deviation, you know when it's really hot and you see the air "swirling", then all of a sudden I heard in my head.. I can't remember exactly, but it was similar to be don't be afraid, but not. But I wasn't scared from it. And then he appeared in front of us.
He was wearing a uniform and looked like a halfling, well short and stocky, not a dwarf and he looked in proportion.
I can't remember all the words he said, but he has the most wonderful smile. I remember he said he was a Romularian, Rom... I can't remember but something that sounded like that.. and no, not Romulan.. but it was something similar, because I remember how much it sounded like Romulan, but I know it wasn't, because it had more syllables.
He went to shake hands, but I leant in and hugged him (which is something that I don't usually do), his skin was very cold and kind of damp?
I remember asking about all the other races out there, and just before I woke up I remember another guy coming up to us, but he was really tall, really thin, in body, but also gait. It's hard to explain but it was as if a normal person had been stretched out, you know like bubble gum, they get longer but get thinner, even his head was very thin... anyway he had a real presence, he was like wearing this big, hard, golden collar that covered his chin as well, and there was no movement anywhere else in his body, it was like he was just there... at the time I was thinking like the demeanour of a Nobel person, but thinking about it now, my head is saying that he was affected by our gravity? Who knows?

That's about all I can remember, except the things which made me a little upset when I had to wake woke up from the dream was... the feeling of pure love, just pure happiness, even though I was scared...

LOL kind of crazy huh? and it seemed so real.. I just had to write it down :))

What is Ectoplasm ? The science and spiritual .. or my theory of it anyway

Oh boy, where do I begin?
These are just my thoughts about what I have read in the past hour.

I got started thinking about it last night when I was showing my husband the post I did on T G Hamilton.
I was telling him how fake it looked and we were discussing how you never see it any more and that why do the faces in this ectoplasm always look similar to photographs.

Firstly, just as it is today, there are always fakes out there, people to make a buck... but with that comes those that are real. It's just distinguishing the two. I think that would be a whole other subject, if I don't keep with the one topic I go off in too many tangents, my thinking is like a tree.. always the "what ifs" which makes many many branches.. see tangent already.. OK

Firstly, why we never see it any more?
Well I believe we do, we see it all the time if my theory (well not mine), is what it is.
I think though at the time the early, thick mucous looking pictures were being taken, photographs were new.
The most credible photographs were taken under strict conditions :

We decided to endeavour to get these séances gradually stabilized on a more scientific plan
A special one-piece dress is kept in the séance room for the use of Mrs. Henderson, and she is always examined when changing into it by two of the ladies who may be sitting. She then goes straight to the séance chair, and her hands are held by the sitter on either side before the light is reduced to the good red light that is normally used.
When trance has been induced, Mrs. Henderson’s hands are freed, and shortly afterwards the control will tuck her thumbs into the edge of the curtain on either side. Then with the other fingers of each hand remaining distinctly in view she will draw the curtains in front of her body. Often in recent séances only one curtain has been used, and the fortunate sitter who is in the right position may see the gradual formation of the ectoplasm on the medium’s person. Before the close of the séance, the medium’s hands are again held by the official in charge, and thus all opportunity for any fraudulent manoeuvres on the part of the medium are practically eliminated. But a greater test of the genuineness of Mrs. Henderson’s work is the fact that for eighteen months, twice a week, she has been under the close observation of the officials of the Society
Obviously the next step was to endeavour to secure records of what was happening. With the hearty co-operation of the controls, and making the first attempt only when they authorized that being done, flashlight photographic records have been taken. The shock to the medium’s system is very great, and a matter of six weeks elapsed between the first and second photograph, a month between the second and third, and now as she is being accustomed to these shocks photographs can be taken fortnightly.
This is only a very brief excerpt from a whole story on Mrs Henderson and can be read fully by clicking on the text, it will take you to the source.

Back to my theories... so as you read it was "a shock to the medium's system", each time a photograph was taken.
This was because at the time of the flash the ectoplasm would flash back onto the mediums body, and cause them great pain. I read this elsewhere also, but can't find what I did with the link.

I think that for one reason alone is enough reason for mediums to no longer practice this.
But then there is the spiritual side, that when we come back to Earth, we have lessons to learn, our memories from the other side are forgotten ( or stored some place for later), and while we are sent messages etc from the other side, they are not to interfere.
While it is many string belief that there is another dimension, I don't think that it is our best intrests to really "know", as part of our learning there is to be faith, so while we see little images and hints that there is, there will never be outright proof that it is, as this will take away the need for Earth as we know.
In summation of that theory, as photographs were starting to be taken it was realised that, things which should not be seen were being captured and should not be, so had to cease.
That would explain also, why the ectoplasm would painfully go back into the mediums body on the flash going off?

In my theory that we do still see it, there are tons and tons of pictures out there of electric anomalies, like little streaks to misty scenes.
In fact I have a very good photograph of a friend she gave me with a really strong colourful misty aura streaking across her, in 2 consecutive pictures, you can see it's movement, what differs from a malfunction of the digital camera is that you can see it has moved in the 2 photos and the ones before and straight after it is gone.
And of course the BIG teller is that there is a perfect face in one of the shots, smiling he is!
I can't post it .. yet.. as I want to do the right thing and ask first to use it.

This is of course not the thick substance you see in the older pictures that people think of when they see ectoplasm.
In these old pictures, ectoplasm was the prelude to the medium being taken over by a spirit, and not long after, the medium's guide would then start to speak through the medium. Is this Trance mediumship?
I just had a quick look for any pictures or videos of people trance channelling and the very few I did find had nothing around them. Nor when they "came back" or the spirit left had any pain on return.
This is where is gets a little scientific and also might prove a true trance medium. That's not to say that some of them really believe they are for real, but again, the science is not there.
Where as the photographed mediums, science proves the work not only by photographs and controlled conditions but also real honest to goodness science.
But I will get to that in just a minute.

Why faces seem to always look like faces from photographs?

Well this is just my theory.. which is prolly way off, but I will put it out there anyway...
When a spirit from comes through and it wants itself to be known, the best way to do that is through your mental imagine of the person. In other words it is what your mind is interpreting.
Just have a think about it, how do you see a person that had died? I know there are many memories of that person, but if you had to define that person by a single imagie?

OK, here is where it gets a little scientific..lol

It gets pretty involved, but I am just going to try and put it simply and from what I have read.

Do these pictures look like anything to you? take away the colour and understand that it is in a controlled environment and what do you have or the beginnings of?

We see the first of the pictures all the time on ghost hunts etc.. in fact I caught one myself when on a ghost tour, it was only small but the same type of thing.
There was nothing shiny to reflect it and just before the picture I felt SO sick, like I was encased in something thick, thick air or something, anyway I told my hubby to take some pictures quick, and we got something exactly like the first picture only much much smaller, if that is not enough that it was "something", at the same time a girl who was also on the tour asked if I was feeling something and what I was feeling ( as I need to sit down I felt so sick), at the same time she yelled really loud "my camera battery's flat", which was weird, as experience has shown that power is usually drained from some place. Even the girl was getting all freaky at it as apparently the camera was almost full battery, and the coincidence of it happening then.
So in summation, I felt something, power was taken and something exactly like picture 1 was taken (though much smaller). Which would lead one to believe that spirit is trying to manifest.

Picture two... does this look familiar? Lots and lots of little orbs, forming into a mass?
Many many ghost hunting adventures we also see this, not as shown but in various stages.
Not all "orbs" captured on camera are spirit, we know this, however many many are, and many, when on closer inspection have shown proper faces, with no question.

So both of the pictures remind us of things we see many times during spirit related activities.. so what are they and what are the pictures of?

Well the pictures above are of Dark Matter, yes that's right... nothing "spiritual" at all.

Oh how I wish that somehow you coul just hook up something to your head to get the information across lol I don't know how to write it out without taking all day...

So are you intrigued? I was, but this is where I stopped let me show you how I got there...

I found this AWESOME article on Ethereal Body: The Quest for Ectoplasm by Marina Warner

These are just a few passages from the article that got my curiosity going:

The word ectoplasm, from the Greek ektos, "outside," and plasma, "something that can be formed or molded," as in plastic, first enters the discourse about spirit in Germany and France.3 It was borrowed from biological usage: the OED gives as its first citation a quotation from 1883 which discloses vividly the operating metaphor: "Its [the amoeba's] jelly-like body becomes faintly parceled out into an outer form (ectoplasm) and an inner soft (endoplasm) layer."4 It is further defined as "a viscous substance ... from which spirits make themselves visible forms... alive, sensitive to touch and light... cold to the touch, slightly luminous and having a characteristic smell...." In the 1920s, a French doctor who conducted numerous experiments expanded on the characteristics of the stuff: "The color white is the most frequent.... On touch ... it can seem soft and a bit elastic when it spreads; hard, knotty or fibrous when it forms strings.... Sometimes it gives the sensation of a spider's web fluttering over the observers' hand.... The substance is mobile. At one moment it evolves slowly, rises, falls, wanders over the medium, her shoulders, her breast, her knees, with a creeping motion that recalls that of a reptile..." The same witness warned, "Any touch will resonate painfully on [the medium]. If the touch is ever so slightly harsh or prolonged, the medium evinces pain compared to that which a shock to the quick would produce."5 After making its appearance, ectoplasm was re-absorbed into the medium's body
and
One of the most staunch supporters of the Society for Psychical Research, Sir Oliver, as he became, gamely persevered in the Einsteinian world with his theory of the Ether, a word which he always capitalized. It was "the tertium quid, the essential intermediary" between mind and matter. Ether itself was not "what we ordinarily speak of as matter," but nevertheless it was "a very substantial substance, far more substantial than any form of matter." "A physical thing ... the vehicle of both matter and spirit ... it is manifestly the vehicle or substratum underlying electricity and magnetism and light and gravitation and cohesion...."
The article is well worth the read, if you came to this post you must be interested, and the above link you will love!

So, In my head I there is an explanation for everything, just some things we don't know.
So I went looking for Ether and Einstein.
I found the address Albert Einstein delivered on May 5th, 1920, in the University of Leyden.

Ether and the Theory of Relativity

I am not going to quote from it, as you can read it yourself, and I skimmed over a whole lot till it got to the things I was interested in.
Basically, to what I understand, the thought is that there needs to be a medium or a go between for the immaterial and the material to converse or speak to each other.
It goes on in great detail the reasoning for this and you can read the above article to see this, but I don't want to confuse the reader... or myself for that matter trying to explain :P

So, how does that relate to ectoplasm? Well, we know that a person is body and spirit. This is a fact as when the body dies, well it is no longer animated or free thinking. If the physicality of the body alone was the generator of a free thinking being, in theory when stimulated by eletrical impulses or other means to bring the physical body back to life, the free thinking would return also.. but it doesn't.
Let alone that people interested in this have also seen research that there is communication from the other side. IF, it is another side and not just a different dimension.. but that is another post again....
So, as spirit and body are totally different things, for them to be as one and communicate with each other there needs to be something like a glue or medium for it to work.
This is where ectoplasm or Ether come in.

Like my little story above (which I will post one day in full), about capturing on camera "ectoplasm". After reading what you have so far would you not conclude that spirit was creating "ether" or a go between so they could be part of the physical (be it touch, sight, smell etc...
Let's get a little techy again, remember for the immaterial and material to converse there must be something to go between, like a translator.
Therefore, if spirit wanted to communicate with us "in physical form", in anyway, it would need to create that go between, translator (ether or ectoplasm), in order to do this.
Hence also that Ether uses electromagnetic fields and light.... lol EMF readings anyone?

Can you see where I am going with this?

This is why in most cases Ether (which we will call it from now on) is produced.
Be it in the form of electric looking strands, clouds, or orbs. As I read some place.. it is the "birthing fluid" or manifestation... though that was related to ectoplasm rather than ether or aether.

This could explain what I have said above, also the old pictures of thick ectoplasm, if they were channelling, the spirit going in our coming out of the body, remembering that spirit needs a translator also, we have our own, or it could be the mediums spirit removing itself in order for entry of another, that would explain why it was so painful on re-entry?

That also makes you wonder just how much real trance mediumship is for real? That is not to discount that they are not hearing dialogue in their head, but unless some physicality is shown externally (sometimes their face changes), we are lead to believe by science that it is not an actual "channel', a taking over of ones body, rather just voices and a great imagination or even showmanship. Remember some things can be very real to people... just think people with mental disorders, or people under the effects of LSD etc....

Ok I think I have babbled on long enough... it's so hard to get my thoughts onto paper.. there are so many!
OH... you ask why do you show pictures of dark matter when talking about ectoplasm and aether?
This is another awesome blog post and in depth and thorough.
IT is VERY long and I hope to read more soon! however if you wonder where the theory of dark matter came from please go here and read this. :)

Dark Matter or Ether

Basically, Dark Matter, as they like to call it now days, IS aether or ectoplasm. As it is being used more in astronomy and the buildings of the universe more nowdays they wanted to get away from the previous titles as they didn't want the connection with spiritualism.
Infact they believe Dark matter to be the budiling blocks of the universe... well duh? didn;t we just establish that for the immaterial to "be" it needs a medium?

Just as a little addendum... I don't understand how scientists get any further nowdays, in order to find new things there must be theories.. or the philosophers of old.
They think up would "could be" and then the scientists work out how.
If there is no theorists open to to "what could be" in all manner of things, including spiritualism, how are the scientists to precede to either prove or disprove it?

Anyway... I am just a housewife and these are just my thoughts.. I could be WAY off mark....

Now back to my housewife duties :)

p.s. sorry for any crappy typing, mistakes etc.. generally I go over it real quick because my head works faster than I can type so often I type really badly or wrong...BUT I have spent to much time typing this all out etc today .. must get to my chores! So sorry :)

Is Keanu Reeves a vampire?? hahahahah

Of course he isn't but I thought this video was kind of cute! :)

...

Well we know that he is not a vampire because they don't exist, but that does not mean that he wouldn't let one bite him....
See what he has to say about it around 1:35 in to this video clip ;)

Haunted mine in Mexico - Mina Dos Estrellas

Anthony Wright has an article on Mex- Connect about this mine.

The Dos Estrellas (Two Stars) mine has had a long and checkered history. It was a fabled producer of gold and silver in a region that was the early stomping ground of the man whose touch in the 18th century turned everything to, if not gold, silver — Jose de la Borda.

One boy paid a visit to the bathroom across from our rooms. He entered and closed the door. When he tried to leave, the door would not open.Don Gustavo, who drove over from Tlalpujahua with a set of keys for every room in the complex, including a skeleton key — and none of them opened that door. Finally, five or six spirited kicks brought the door down. It was the only way to get the kid out.

These are only excerpt's from Anthony's experience, it was cool to read. And you just have to visit the link above to view the pictures taken. Even in daylight it is creepy.
__________________________________________________________________-

The mine has a sad past. The way it was mined led to the buying of 1/2 the city, with over 500 mine workers. I can see why many spirits would gather there... if that was what killed them.

Here is the story:

In Tlalpujahua Michoacan, and El Oro, Estado de Mexico, was established early last century mining company 2 stars.
This mine had the most modern technological advances with the times to extract gold and silver of the great vein that had been found.
To obtain a gold bar is necessary to remove tons of earth. . The chemical process was very slow. But then we discovered a new procedure where the land was placed in a sort of pool of water and cyanide to the gold and silver rise quickly to the water surface. With this new method could be processed much faster all the tons of soil were extracted from the mine.

The mine produced much gold, which means that many tons of earth extracted from the mine, which is mixed with water and cyanide. The gold went through the port of Veracruz to Inglaterrra ... And the mud? . That was "small technical error." These strips were accumulating in an area of 18 hectares, up from a cliff above the town.

Can you imagine what happened?

On 27 May 1937, the dam that held those slats broke and a mudslide collapsed. A hill helped through the mud on the left side outside the town, burying half. They were picked asleep because it happened at about 5:30 Madru.

Here is seen as the altar was buried, and stands only a portion of the image of Our Lady of Mt. This miraculous image would be carried to their new sanctuary on the other side of town.

A person already large, which makes guiding in the ruins, told us he was fourteen when the tragedy happened. The earth has only been taking a shovel and wheelbarrow, for many years to show where the ground was before, and you can see the mosaics covering the floor of the sanctuary.

This person told us that did not grow anything in the area until authorities recently tepetate put a layer on top, and the grass was born. How was I to grow something, if you were lands with cyanide?.

There was a reality show on MTV called Fear, I had only heard of this show as I started to google the mine.
They sent in "teams" of people who signed up for the show, to do various tasks ("dares"), and I am guessing, the last man standing wins.
Well apparently, from what I read, this was the only location to have every member of the first"team" quit.
There is a part two, to this location as they had to bring in a new one.

This is part 3 out of 5 videos on You Tube. I chose this one just because of something significant happening. The whole show is still worth watching and can be viewed in parts by clicking on the bottom left hand corner and starting at the beginning ie: 1/5.

The people really believe things are happening and are hearing all sorts of strange noises etc... if you listen to what they are saying and have a little imagination.. woah!
That would lead you to believe that maybe all these goings on a rigged, or set up. Well unless this person is lying, which does not sound like it, this is the response in answer to similar questions.

We dont rig anything. We use props, but thats it.
and
the producers have the cast members agree to participate in these dares with the understanding that there may be some safety issues which may arise during their FEAR adventure. The production team has done everything humanly possible to ensure the safety of their cast and crew, but, as you well know, sometimes there are unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of anyone occupying this 3rd dimension.... this is rare, but, indeed DOES OCCUR ! The producers would then quickly address any mishap or unearthly occurrence in the best way possible. Believe me, they are professionals in their own right, and would ALWAYS do the right thin
and
We are not anywhere near the location, its an important part of the show for the cast to be isolated. However, they are able to contact us by walkie-talkie or computer if someone needs medical attention. We do have medical professionals standing by.

I don't know about you but that is enough to say to me that it is all real.

Now let's get down to this part of the episode I have posted.
Other than the scary things the guy said he was hearing, we know the computer playing up and the lights going out was not set up;
From other research, we know that for a spirit to manifest it needs power ( this I have experienced first hand), therefore we think.. why would the power be drained? what happened?

Well, you have to be quick, but as soon as the lights go out you can see a shadow move across the front of her camera.. I read about it and had to watch it like 7 times to see it, but there is something because just for that split second it all goes black from right to left.
If you still can't see it just listen to all the noises that are happening there... remembering that nothing is set up or rigged.

This is part 3 of 5 from the second team that tackled this location.
This is the last part I am posting as I want to watch the rest when my husband gets home.
There are so many notes of interest throughout the video. Most are noted on the the video, like the doors slamming shut and both camera malfunctioning .. not to mention the stories of what the contestants heard whilst in their dares.
Also at 2.14 there is like a child's voice or something in the background.. evp?

Anyway, that is about as much time as I am spending on this story today, but I am sure as shit that I Will be watching the rest of the episodes later, knowing that the things that happen are not set up.
The story told to the contestants apparently is, but whatever happens... is not.

The location itself, I know it is rich with history, and people like to preserve these things, but with such an awful history, I am more under the idea that it should be made into maybe a memorial or something.

Over and out :)

Thomas Glendenning Hamilton

..
This short video is an example of some of his work. It looks so fake, but if you read about where the pictures come from on the University of Manitoba's site. They are from proper slides. I don't know how you can fake really slides.
Also, TG and his wife were well known for their paranormal pursuits.
You can read a brief summation on wonderful Wiki.

I believe it was his daughter that compiled a book about it, though listed on this site it's author is T.G. Hamilton. Either way you can read it here, and I think that may be the only place as it is listed as out of publication. ( I have yet to read it, but it is on my "list" :)

Intention and Survival

Dr. T. Glen Hamilton

They apparently investigated many things, from table tipping to Telekinesis, and what the wonderful thing is, they documented it all. From pictures to note and manuscripts tabling the events that they encountered and tested.
It was all donated to the University of Manitoba, which they have graciously archived it for all interested to see.
You can view the complete collection here:

This is an amazing interview with Dr Glenn, TG's son and his memories of his father.
Psychic research in a Winnipeg family: reminiscences of Dr. Glen F. Hamilton.
Psychic research in a Winnipeg family: reminiscences of Dr. Glen F. Hamilton.(Gazette)(Reprint)
Article Excerpt
I first learned of Dr. Glen Forrester Hamilton through the psychic research of his father, Dr. Thomas Glendenning Hamilton. TG, as Glen's father was affectionately known, engaged in a wide variety of studies in the psychic area during the 1900s. I obtained a research grant from the Archives & Special Collections at the University of Manitoba in order to interview Margaret, TG's only daughter, as to her recollections and reminiscences about her father and her father's psychic work. Margaret was eager to participate, so an interview was scheduled for 27 October 1986. When I returned from an extended trip to Churchill, however, I was told the heartbreaking news that, on 18 October, Margaret had died.

The death of Margaret left Dr. Glen as the sole surviving offspring of TG Hamilton. I suggested to several persons who knew Dr. Glen that, perhaps, I might contact him to see if he would agree to the sort of interviews I had planned for his sister. Unfortunately, I was always told that it would be a waste of time, because Dr. Glen never gave interviews about his own beliefs or his father's psychic research. With completely unwarranted confidence that Glen would agree to videotaped interviews and after a sufficient time interval had elapsed following his sister's death, I telephoned Glen on 8 May 1987. To my relief, he was most gracious, and immediately agreed to our working together. Our first face to face meeting was 11 June, at which time he proudly gave me a tour of his home at 123 Greene Avenue in Winnipeg, and showed me the family scrapbooks, his bagpipes, his figurines, and his models of ships and trains. Glen and I worked together taping interviews during July. To my knowledge, Glen's recollections and views of his family history, his father's psychic research, and his own beliefs have never been made public before. What follows is a summary of the reminiscences of Dr. Glen, much of which is presented through photographs as well as in his own words. (1)

Dr. Glen always presented himself as a proud Scot. His favourite song was "Road to the Isles," played on bagpipes. He also was a dedicated physician. He graduated from the Medical College of the University of Manitoba in 1934. After a brief post-graduate experience in Edinburgh, Scotland, he returned to Canada to practice medicine in Huntsville, Ontario in 1938. The next year he was back in Winnipeg, practicing from the family home in Elmwood. Between 1939 and 1944, he served with the Army Medical Corps, retiring as a Major. He became Chairman of the Medical Staff at Concordia Hospital and was for a time on the staff of St. Boniface Hospital.

Dr. Glen, like his parents, believed in personal survival after death. Though his beliefs were held with strong conviction, he came across to me as exceedingly tolerant of those whose beliefs did not coincide with his own. He approached life scientifically, though he believed in things not yet verified or perhaps even testable by the scientific method. He was fiercely independent, a sort of rebel or loner. He was a brutal realist. He confronted life simply, directly, and honestly. Yet, despite this sometimes cold, pragmatic, and practical side, I found him to be sensitive, warm, and even vulnerable with a great sense of humour and hope and optimism. Dr. Glen admitted to being a very private and shy person, shunning most celebrations and personal recognition. When I suggested that the videotaped interviews might be titled, "Psychic Research in a Famous Winnipeg Family," he modestly asked that the word, "Famous," be left out. His unique background, his broad-based expertise, and his personal charm made my meetings with him both informative and enjoyable.

According to Dr. Glen, his father was a highly principled, Presbyterian Scot physician, born to James Hamilton and Isabella Glendenning on 27 November 1873, in Agincourt, Ontario. Nine years later, TG's father and oldest brother, Robert, left their Agincourt farm as members of the Temperance Colonization Society and traveled west to homestead on the west side of the South Saskatchewan River near Saskatoon. The following year, Isabella, TG, and the other four children joined the family in Saskatchewan, living for a time in a sod house. Unfortunately, the family suffered severely through farming problems as well as the Northwest Rebellion of 1885. It was in this year that James Hamilton died. Calamity struck once more when in the next year, James' only daughter, Margaret, also died. Because of these devastating events, the family left the Saskatchewan farm, dispersed briefly, but finally reunited in Winnipeg, in 1891.

TG and his siblings attended school in Winnipeg. TG taught school in order to put himself through medicine. In 1903, he obtained his MD degree from the Manitoba Medical College (now the Medical School of the University of Manitoba). He was the first physician in Elmwood, specialized in internal medicine and obstetrics, and did his rounds by bicycle, then by horse and buggy, and only later by an open-topped touring car. Soon, TG met Lillian May Forrester, who was born in Belleville, Ontario, lived on a farm, served for a while as a school teacher, and in 1905 graduated from the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing (now the School of Nursing of the University of Manitoba). In 1906, TG and Lillian married, and TG was elected to the Winnipeg School Board. Their first child, Margaret Lillian, was born on 23 February 1909. In 1910, the family moved into "Old One Eighty Five," a large two storey house at 185 Kelvin Street (now Henderson Highway). Soon it became known throughout Winnipeg as "Hamilton House." Offices were on the main floor, surgery in the basement with its own entrance from the street, and living quarters upstairs. Glen Forrester Hamilton, whose recollections form the basis of the present article, was born on 16 August 1911. According to Margaret, "Glen Forrester soon grew to become my playmate, my opponent, and my best friend." (2) In 1912, Isabella, who had been living with the family in Hamilton House, died. Three years later, TG was elected by Elmwood constituents to be their Liberal Member in the Manitoba Legislative Assembly. This honour came in the same year as the birth on 27 September of twin boys: Arthur Lamont and James Drummond.

To the great shock of the entire family, on 27 January 1919, Arthur died of the widespread influenza outbreak at the end of the First World War. In 1920, TG was up for reelection as Elmwood's MLA but was defeated. On a more positive note, in this same year, TG was named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, started the Manitoba Medical Review, and became its first editor. In 1921, TG became President of the Manitoba Medical Association and the first President of the University of Manitoba Alumni Association.

Between 1918 and 1935, TG developed a strong interest in psychic research. Although it did not seem to interfere with his medical practice, TG spent more and more time investigating psychic events as well as writing and lecturing on the work he was doing in this field. At first, he kept the two areas completely separate. His medical practice was his public profession, while his psychic research was his private secret. However, in May 1926, TG went public when he delivered a lecture on his research on telekinesis to the Winnipeg Medical Society. From then until his death, he became a national and international spokesperson--in personal appearances and in print--for psychic research. In 1931, TG became the first President of the Winnipeg Society for Psychical Research. In 1934, the Hamilton family was photographed together as a stable and secure unit. This image was shattered when, on 7 April 1935, after a year of failing health, TG died of a heart attack.

Although many articles on psychic research had been written by TG prior to his death, it was his posthumous volume, Intention and Survival (1942), under the editorship of Lillian and James Drummond, which represents the most complete summary of his work. Lillian continued TG's work until her death on 18 September 1956. In 1977, the second edition of Intention and Survival was printed under Margaret's editorship. James Drummond, who had been a physician in the US and Canada, died on 8 April 1980. Margaret carried on the family task of publicizing the Hamilton research through talks and writings for the next thirty years.

Although TG had read books on spiritualism and psychic work during the First World War, his concern over his recently deceased son, Arthur, may have increased significantly his strong attraction to the field of psychic research. As Dr. Glen expressed his explanation of his father's deepening interest in the psychic field:

Towards the end of the First War, in fact, about December of 1918, when the first battalions were coming back from the War, they brought the so-called Spanish Flu with them; and we all caught it. But unfortunately, my brother, Arthur, who was then three ... died of it in January 1919. And that was the first time I ever saw death as it really was. My mother and father took me into the bedroom where he was lying in his crib. He just looked like a little wax doll; and I can remember on the floor beside his crib there was an enamel basin with boiling water in it--Friars Balsam--that aromatic stuff you put into body rub and a little tank of oxygen. And those were the weapons to fight the Flu. That was all! And it wasn't successful in his case. It really shook my father up a great deal. Dad was a very strict Calvinist Presbyterian, and he felt that in some way, because he was so fond of Arthur--we all, he was kind of a loveable kid for some reason or other--that he was being punished by the Lord, which today we think is a little bit ridiculous. But that's the way he took it. And I think that stimulated his interest in the psychic field. He felt here he had lost a beautiful little boy. Where had the soul gone?

Interestingly, Glen's sister, Margaret, expressed a similar view of her father in a 1980 interview:

When little Arthur died at the age of three years ... dad's grief was profound. I remember being in wonderment as I watched my father cry.... He asked the question, "Does my child survive?" He wasn't sure for a long time. (3)

The investigations of TG were wide in scope and many in number. Glen referred to them as "psychic research."

He much preferred the more lofty name of "psychic research." You see, to us, spiritualism is a form of religion ... Dad did not like that type of attitude towards his work. He was interested in trying to do things as carefully and as openly and as honestly, of course, as he could.

TG at one time or other investigated the Ouija board, mental telepathy, table rapping, table tipping, table traveling, table flipping, bell-box ringing, bell-box cables, super-normal lights, automatic writing, scripts, deep-trance drawings, direct voice, communications from deceased persons, dictatorial spirit guides, trance personalities, and ectoplasmic constructions. The results of these investigations contributed greatly to TG becoming convinced that there were capabilities of the human spirit that go beyond mere physical capabilities, that these capabilities are particularly high in special people, that deceased persons can communicate with and produce material through these special people, and that these communications and productions show intelligence and intentionality and, thereby, provide proof for the survival of the human spirit after death. In addition, one may surmise that TG's experiences during these investigations played a major part in his eventually coming to terms with Arthur's death through the belief that Arthur's life was ongoing in another world.

In 1918, Dr. William Talbot Allison, an English Professor at Wesley College (now the University of Winnipeg) introduced TG and Lillian to the "Patience Worth Phenomenon," which involved spiritual communication and inspiration through the Ouija board and other means based on the mediumship of Pearl Lenore Pollard Curran of St. Louis, Missouri. In Dr. Glen's description of the family's use of the Ouija board around the time of the First World War, he also refers to Elizabeth Poole, TG's first medium.

The number of dead led to the appearance of what was called at first "planchette" ... English Canadians called it the "Ouijee"--I always called it the "Ouijee board".... Certain people seem to have an ability to put their hands on this thing, and it would point to different letters. It would send you a message. It was a tedious method but it worked! And you could say--ask it questions-and the planchette would point to "yes" or "no." Undoubtedly, 99 percent of the results that were gotten were fraudulent, people just fooling around. But mother and dad had this close friend, Mrs. Elizabeth Poole, a little wee Scottish woman.... She was sort of a baby sitter, I guess.... So it was noted that when Mrs. Poole was around--and remember she was a Scot, a pure Scot, she had a heavy Scottish accent--this planchette or Ouija board would go nuts!

TG also experimented with mental telepathy with his United Church minister, Reverend Daniel Norman McLachlan. Telepathy or thought transference involves communication from one mind to another through mental (rather than sensory) channels. The two men tried to send mental messages to each other from different rooms rather than merely receiving public messages through the Ouija board. By restricting conditions so misinterpretation could be avoided, they soon became convinced that their telepathic experiments were successful.

About 1920, TG and Lillian became involved in table rapping, the listening for table raps to provide "yes" and "no" answers to questions similar to those previously posed to the Ouija board. (Interestingly, Lillian and the other Forresters came from Belleville, Ontario, near Consecon, where the famous Fox sisters, Margaret and Kate, were born and later initiated a spiritualistic resurgence because of their table rapping feats in Hydesville, New York in 1848. (4)) The involvement in table rapping led to other table-related phenomena, namely, table tipping, table moving, and table flipping. Of particular importance to TG's investigations into the psychic world was the time in 1920 when TG, Lillian, and Mrs. Poole were introduced to the popular parlour game of that era, table tipping. It was thought that as the alphabet was verbally repeated, a table would stop tipping when the "correct" letter was reached; in time, a series of letters could then be expected to spell out a message. On the first occasion, in dim light, the table began to move, tilt up on two legs, and finally spell out a meaningful message. This event impressed Lillian, who continued working with Mrs. Poole to develop her surprising psychic capabilities further. Only later did TG take over this work from Lillian. One evening, a table rose up on two legs, and Lillian could not force it down. After considerable effort, TG pushed it down with what he estimated was about fifty pounds of pressure.

Despite these message-bearing occurrences, TG was becoming more critical of his psychic work. Somewhat reluctantly, in 1921, TG initiated his investigation into telekinesis, the movement of physical objects through mental (rather than physical) activity. Despite his waning interest, TG received a message in early 1923 through table raps that said "Go on with your work." Within a year, this message was to stimulate a whole new direction of study for the Hamiltons.

These were the days in which Mrs. Poole did her most productive work. Glen describes how his father in conjunction with sitters and Mrs. Poole set up experiments in table moving.

He took plywood, and he built a cabinet, three-sided vertical box, open on one side ... and on the front here he put a roller blind on end, and it had a netting in it about five feet high. There was a hook here, and when you put the psychic table in here (the psychic table was made all of wood--there was no metal used in its construction) and Mrs. Poole would put her hands on this table to charge it with energy, and other sitters would hold hands to reinforce the charging, and she would push the table into the cabinet. Dad would then draw this net across the face of it. He had a flash camera.... This was all done in the dark.... This table could be heard to charge forward and bulge the net a way out as though it was trying to escape, and it was this that got my dad interested. He said there is some kind of psychic force working there.

By now, TG had established a separate room on the second floor of Hamilton House specifically for his psychic research. (I have visited the house and the old research room twice, both times with Eileen Sykes, TG's medical and seance secretary.) TG not only succeeded at table moving, but table flipping as well. About this time, TG began to pursue another capability of Mrs. Poole, namely, spontaneous deep trance. TG as a medical man performed many measurements on her performance in various psychological states, including automatic writing (continuous longhand scripts written supposedly without conscious control). All of these phenomena were strange, yet they were to evolve into something even stranger.

TG and a group of other similarly interested people regularly witnessed and documented the construction and appearance of teleplasms, or manifestations of cloud-like faces, bodies, and objects. Most of the work was accomplished between 1928 and 1935. Over a thousand trance-periods were held in a darkened room, in the Hamilton home, with over 500 photographs taken by a bank of cameras recording teleplasms which appeared inside TG's wooden cabinet. A significant change occurred in the formation and direction of the Hamilton research.

Mrs. Poole introduced two other Scottish ladies. They were sisters-in-law, both named Mrs. Marshall. The larger of the two had a name given by the psychic controls, Dawn, and the smaller of the two ladies was given the name Mercedes. And they were known as that.... All three were very simple, almost uneducated people.

Mary Marshall began her work with the Hamiltons in January of 1928. As the focus on Mary Marshall increased, the focus on Mrs. Poole decreased to the point that in September 1933, Mrs. Poole retired from mediumship due to failing health. In 1928, in addition to teleplasms, TG became aware of certain auditory communications through Mary Marshall that appeared to come from a "voice box," thought to be external to the vocal organs of the medium. This "direct voice phenomenon" occurred only infrequently in the Hamilton research, because it supposedly took too much power to accomplish. The major purpose of the s6ances was the building up of teleplasms, and their production supposedly required considerable energy input itself. About this time, another observation was reported concerning "supernormal light" (psychic light). A light varying between a dull glow and a brightly illuminated watch dial infrequently appeared about a foot from Mary Marshall, as low as a few inches from the floor to a position level with her head. Sometimes it moved rapidly; sometimes only slowly; sometimes only some sitters saw it; but never was TG able to photograph it.

Occasionally, famous people arrived in Winnipeg and came to Hamilton House, some attending sittings and some even taking their own photographs of the proceedings. Three of the most noted visitors were Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1-3 July 1923), who wrote the Sherlock Holmes stories, Dr. and Mrs. L.R.G. Crandon (21-24 December 1926), who were associated with the Houdini versus Margery controversy, and the Right Honourable William Lyon Mackenzie King (20 August 1933), who was former Prime Minister of Canada, then Leader of the Opposition, and soon to return once more as Prime Minister. In May, June, and July of 1932, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle returned once more to Hamilton House--through seances--because he died on 7 July 1930. Another post-death visitor was TG himself, who "came through" in a seance in Dr. Allison's study the night of TG's funeral in 1935 as well as in the picture-producing seance of 22 May 1939 and in numerous scripts written to Lillian between 1940 and 1944.

An important category of people coming to Hamilton House was visitors. However, six other categories of people, who were essential to the Hamilton...

Even Sir Sir Arthur Conan Doyle took an interest in his work. You can read the story here:

"THE" House:

It is now a
Homoeopathic Clinic.. I have been looking for hours just to find a picture of it.. you google "Hamilton house" and it doesn't come up.. oi vey!

I have also been googling follow up stories to see if anything strange still happens there... and still nothing... I think this might have to be followed up another day. :)

All I could find was that CTV in Manitoba did a documentary for their Tv show "Manitoba Moments".
It was supposed to be an episode called "Chasing Hamilton's Ghost".

In a scene that was cut from the 22-minute documentary, a local medium and her photographer take a tour of the Hamilton house in the pitch black.

While that experience was spooky enough for Antoniuk, the real shock came when one of the pictures that was taken in the dark was developed, showing a strange white streak.

“At first I was a skeptic,” said Antoniuk. “But it kind of makes you wonder.”

The documentary was written, shot and edited entirely in Manitoba, and features many pictures and quotes from Hamilton’s stash of texts, diaries, and more than 1,000 photographs and slides of strange paranormal activity.

“It’s good for the community and it’s good for Winnipeg,” said Antoniuk about the documentary.

Chasing Hamilton’s Ghost will air as part of CTV’s Manitoba Moments on June 24 at 6:30 p.m.

I wish I had more but time... and well no visitors anyway, so I am just talking to myself ;)

Large Meteor in China

Witnesses in Beijing and nearby Tianjin recorded a clearly visible fireball-like meteorite descending near the west horizon of Beijing at 10:23 pm on Dec 16.

I know it's not a UFO as it was classified as a Meteor, however.. how neat! :)

Funny story, touched by an Angel or not

Lots of people claim to have seen messengers from heaven. Such otherworldly encounters range from being rescued by an angel or warned by an angel to touched by an angel or even slapped around by one.

hehe no wonder why men folk have such problems telling others about "experiences" ;)

Amazing Real Life Alien Encounters, by Malcolm Robinson

A new book out, a little full on!

GARRY'S STORY

A grey arm was dropped on to his chest. The small being was four and a half feet tall with a child-like body, a large pear-shaped head with black eyes.

Garry also saw small brown beings with folds of skin covering their faces and a small man dressed in a black suit with tie.

He recalled lying naked with two small creatures at the foot of the table, one holding a bright diamond-shaped object, which pulsated with an orange light.

The creature then began moving the diamond over his body.

To his left, sitting on the floor, was a naked female who was crying and shivering. He said in his mind, "Why are you doing this?" The reply he got was simply, "Sanctuary."

Sounds like it would be a good read though! You can read the full story by clicking on the text.

Transportation of a UFO?

Between 9:00 and 9:30 PM, numerous callers began phoning the station with reports of a strange sight on Interstate 20, which runs between Dallas and Ft. Worth. They described a surreal scene – a large, flatbed truck was carrying what appeared to be a UFO on its trailer.

The 18-wheeler was being escorted by what appeared to be military vehicles,

"Gay" demons?

[below: excerpt from 2007 Engle Los Vegas speech. see here for extended transcript.]

"My son Jesse, he's nineteen years old. God has given him dreams, to go to San Francisco to launch a house of prayer, one block from the Castro District - where the homosexuals boast the dominion of darkness. He's going there with weeping in his heart. With the dream that prayer is stronger than the dominion of that spirit.

...He said to me, "dad," he said, "as long as I'm there I don't think the Lord will judge San Francisco." [boos, angry murmur from Engle's audience]...

He's nineteen years old. He's starting to cast out homosexual spirits out of our new converts. It's scary as hell. The whole thing's scary. But fathers are to send their sons into the darkest places."

Great explanation of diamond shaped "UFO's"

well some...

Please click on the text to be taken to the full thread.
Unfortunately, almost all of those were shot with Sony Brand cameras, and even on Sonys website, it explains the type of aperture blades they use, and they are diamond shaped, and therefore unfocused specular highlights (such as what is in the videos) are also diamond shaped.

You can even create the effect yourself in a very simple manner, so that its easier to understand how an aperture blade shape will and does create this split diamond looking artifact.

Image

But the appearance of that shape alone is not enough to constitute a 'good' ufo video, even if it is actually a TAPE of a ufo. This manufaturing fact just means that its more likely mundane objects that are being fimed, with this lensing artifact present.

The diamond shaped pattern people are seeing in recent videos are not evidence of craft.
Although it is possible they ARE filming something unusual for sure..the diamnond pattern itself is not evidence of that..

It comes from the blades that form the camera aperture itself
(the Focusing hole to the sensor)

The Effect is called Bokeh. Its Japanese for Fuzziness..

Cameras with more blades will render this effect as a soft circle.
Consumer level video cameras will render it as a triangle, as they generally have two Blades..Hence the diamond shape.
This is what occurs when the focusing mechanism tries to lock onto a point of light..
Ie Christmas lights, plane lights, and planets.

The Following is from SONYS site itself as proof of what im saying..
so Dont bash me for using facts to back up what im telling you..

Conventional compact camera lenses feature a 2-blade iris diaphragm (aperture iris) that produces diamond-shaped bokeh at partially open aperture. The “G Lens”, on the other hand, features a nearly round 6-blade iris diaphragm that creates beautiful round bokeh. At large focal lengths that produce a shallow depth of field — especially in “G Lens” models featuring optical 20x zoom — the amount of bokeh in the foreground and background can be controlled through fine adjustment of the aperture.

Here are several decidedly NON alien subject matters, exhibiting a diamond shaped Bokeh pattern: These are forks.

Closer to finding dark Matter

I really get such bad vibes about all this.
Here is the Story:

The scientific initiative operating the Cryogenic Dark Matter Search II (CDMSII) instrument recently published a study that reveals details of two instances in which dark matter may have actually been discovered.
In my eyes there is no "good for the earth" reason to delve into these things. The risks are crazy and I only feel no good can come of it.

If you don't know much about the machine that is used. Wikipedia has a great summation of it, there is a whole lot so it takes time to read.
HADRON COLLIDER
If you scroll down to the "purpose", not one thing listed there is of any value other than destruction and knowing things that we just don't need to know.

I am so so SO against this and people just shouldn't fuck with things that don't need fucking with.. sorry for the language but humans are idiots!

Here is the "official web site" LHC Machine Outreach.

hrrm I also have another "let's think about this", I'll do a separate post for it.

More proof that a spiritual awakening is afoot!

It's everywhere, first Vampires, and ghosts.. UFO's are even being broadcast on the news, next in the instalment are Angels.

We called the "angels are the new vampires" trend months ago, and already the facts are stacking up to bolster our claims.

UFO spotted in Altrincham ?

Alien Graveyard?

Hrrmmm This story sure sounds interesting! I would like to see more!

Scientists say they have found an extraterrestrial cemetery in central Africa that is at least 500 years old!

“There must be 200 bodies buried there and not a single one of them is human,” Dr. Hugo Childs, the Swiss anthropologist, told reporters in Kigali, Rwanda.
Please click through to the story on the forum. :)

More spiral lights like Norway.

You know , I don't want to go into a big long story about my opinions right now, but I think that the whole new spiritual awakening that has been happening latley ( people are more open and ready to believe in the paranormal), and the Disclosure, the time and the sightings are all inter-related and we people don't see the cross over.

I suppose it's how you view or what you think is the way things work, wether we just go onto hevan or our spirit evolves through different dimensions and planes.. or, I can't even think of a word to explain what I am thinking.
You know, kind of like this "earth" is just another place on our journey, and that we don't have "roles" to play as such but more of lessons.

Anyway, before I get all goofy here are a couple of vids. From China and Russia :)

There are a whole lot of things they could be put down to, but some of them just could be... you know what *insert high pitched music here*

Another story of self haunting?

In an article appearing at the CNN website (originally from Oprah.com), the strange story of “Jessica Lynn Cohen” is recounted, better known by her familial moniker “the Christmas Zombie Doll.”

I am a firm believer that this goes on a whole lot. It is amazing whatthe mind and body can do, especially if it is altered in some way, either by drugs, Psychosis or stress or many of the other things that makes us not quite right.

The Drummer of Tedworth 2 great reads!

I came across the story of the Drummer of Tedworth and had a little look into it.
I don't know really what I conclude, but I don't believe it was a "hoax". I tend to agree with the opinion that it was like some sort of telepathic events created by the drummer himself.

Here are a couple of links for your to go over and decide for yourself:

The story I agree with :

The following is an historical tale about a poltergeist that was stranger than most as the cause might not have been a spirit, or the unconsciousness mind of a adolescent child so common in poltergeist cases, but of someone who consciously caused it while alive.
_____________________________________________________________________-
The story where it says it was a hoax.... I believe, and can see logically that the latter events were a hoax; But it fails to show me that the original was:

Other people, however, believed that there was no ghostly drummer, and that Mr. Mompesson had invented the entire story, either as a way to make some money or to gain some notoriety. These critics pointed out various problem’s with Mr. Mompesson’s claims.

_______________________________________________________________

And a very lengthy compilation of facts, letters and documents relating to the WHOLE story.
This is well worth the read if you can find some time.
It is a 38 page PDF and has some initial banter from the author, but please bear through it, because when you start to read letters and documents from the original time.. well go look for yourself!!!
Make up your own mind now you have all the facts! :).. (or next best thing)

New Light on ‘The Drummer of Tedworth’:
Conflicting Narratives of Witchcraft in Restoration England
By
Michael Hunter

This paper presents a definitive text of hitherto little-known early documents concerning ‘The Drummer of Tedworth’, a poltergeist case that occurred in 1662-3 and became famous not least due to its promotion by Joseph Glanvill in his demonological work, Saducismus Triumphatus. On the basis of these and other sources, it is shown how responses to the events at Tedworth evolved from anxious piety on the part of their victim, John Mompesson, to confident apologetic by Glanvill, before they were further affected by the emergence of articulate scepticism about the case.

Bizarre Orb UFO seen above Wales

I love the time on this video too!
Yeah yeah I am one of the weirdoes that sees all funny numbers.. the 11.11 people :(
LOL we make jokes of it but it secretly freaks me out. ;)

The man who filmed this says:

I dont know what to say to this?, all i can say is that this was my first capture of the evening and just setting up when i saw this come into view on my night vision optics, i could not see it without the aid of my device or could it be seen with my camcorder alone?. It was silent and moved from north to south direction and it was dark at the time. I thought at first it may be a baloon or a parachute but if this was so i would have had no problem spotting either with ordianary binoculars or my camcorder that has a 40x optical zoom and nightshot. I am also sure it would be easy to see unaided.

Could coffee be the cause of late night "voices" ?

I found this blog entry "have a coffee - see ghosts".

I thought ok.. stimulation etc... then read in the comments section the author found follow up about it, which was not it helped people see ghost, more so that coffee drinkers are more likely to hear voices.

"‘High caffeine users’ – those who consumed more than the equivalent of seven cups of instant coffee a day - were three times more likely to have heard a person’s voice when there was no one there compared with ‘low caffeine users’ who consumed less than the equivalent of one cup of instant coffee a day."
You can follow through for the story by clicking on the text.

Now my little thought...I think the blogger stumbled onto the right track.
it's funny that most ghost experiences are late at night, and most people have a thing "to stay awake I must increase my intake of caffeine".. in other words they drink lots of coffee because they think it helps them stay awake.
Logically, being stimulated makes everything more intense, emotions, touch.. the whole thing.. would it not also maybe let your ears think they hear what your head is thinking someone is saying?
Just a thought... I am not discounting anything paranormal at all, I have had lots of experiences and I do not drink coffee or cola.. or caffeine.
Maybe we should put a caffeine ban on these ghost hunter shows and see if they still experience things? :)

2 personal ghost stories from a forum.

It sounds a little bit like fiction, but it is said to be a story *shrug*.

As far as I know, whatever entered our house that summer night was never caught or identified. I do know he or "it" intended to tie me up and hurt me. I do know he or "it" had little fear and enjoyed terrifying us that night. I also know he or "it" was beast-like and far from human given its loud haunting screams and incredible physical strength. I will always believe the monster that ripped the window and frame out of Kim's wall was the same monster that intended and tried to kill me.

Haunted tours can not walk the streets?

This is not really a "ghost" story, but rather one of people being asses.

Since when is it bad to walk the streets, be it walking your dog or on a "Haunted history tour"?

"Smith's fight with VCPORA started in June 2003 when Donald Geddes, at the time chairman of a walking-tour complaints committee, rattled off an e-mail message to his fellow VCPORA members and business owners. In it he urged them to attend a City Council meeting and support a proposed ordinance imposing strict limits on walking tours in the French Quarter. He referred to Smith's tour guides as "thugs" and "malcontents (who) will be (at the meeting) in droves to protect what they now consider their turf."

Was the Norway Spiral to remind Obama about his promise of disclosure?

How to explain it? Maybe space aliens have infiltrated the Noble Peace Prize committee and are big fans of the president.

Outlandish? Perhaps, but don’t tell that to the Norwegians. News of Obama winning the award isn’t the only thing on their minds today. They’re talking about UFOs. Or one giant UFO. And the world is paying attention to it too.

YOU can read the rest of the story here:

Norway Spiral to welcome Obama
