10 Angels in classic movies

I found Divine Carols website which has a list of 10 Angels seen in classic movies. It has a little teaser written about each one under each title but I thought it might be fun to show what Angels on screen looked like "back then", a far cry from what we see nowdays :)


1. Mr. Jordan and Messenger 7013 in Here Comes Mr. Jordan (1941)

I like how they always wore suits :)

2. Charles in For Heaven’s Sake (1950)

Suits again and rather distinguished ;)

3. The Angelic Helpers in Angels in the Outfield (1951)

I can't find anything for this one from this year

4. Clarence in It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)

What a happy nice face, certainly someone who you would feel at ease with :)

5. Dudley in The Bishop’s Wife (1947)

6. Billy Bigelow in Carousel (1956)



7. J. Hardy Hempstead in The Twilight Zone: Episode Mr. Bevis (1960)


8. Athanael in The Horn Blows at Midnight (1945)

9. Donald Duck in Donald’s Better Self (1938)



10. The Stranger in The Passing of the Third Floor Back (1935)



What a great list! and how much fun it was to find and watch these old world Angels of the screen.
