I have had a few questions from people not being able to see the shadow person that is another figure that was so clear to me, even in the original picture before I zoomed in, did it stand out.

I have traced around it in this picture to show where it is, if you enlarge the other posted picture further you can absolutly see that the figure is a  different shade of shadow than the trees behind, you can also see how it fades to nothing and in some places it blocks out the tree bhind it, in the outer edges it is transparent.

 

I need to edit later with the link for this original photo. I noticed it on Flickr and straight away something stood out to me, other than the cloud being in the rough shape of a heart.. there is a face peeking out... as clear as day, a beautiful smiling face. I asked the photographer if he noticed it and he said no, and he didn't put anything there.

I'm not sure how clear it is to others, but I can't see anything else when I look at it now.

Random Graveyard shadow

This visit was purely just for the aesthetic value of the beautiful scenery the church sat amongst.
Going through the pictures, I find this!
Just your random shadow man from a quite graveyard... amazing.. if you zoom in even further than I have already to post the picture, you can even see facial features on the shadow, like eyes, cheekbones etc...

Gaia speaks

I forgot all about these pictures, only orbs, nothing spectacular.

There had been wind around all day, just a light breeze, nothing noteworthy.
However when we first stepped onto the stairs, into the scrub, this wind blew and it felt funny, then I looked around and all these like large white pollen or feathers or something started just blowing around me, it was beautiful.. there were thousands, I asked husband if he saw and he said he saw nothing, nor did it happen again for the half hour or so we were there.
I did catch a glimpse on camera, but doesn't do justice to what I saw, there were thousands.
What is also unusual about it is, there were so many, litteraly I thought to cover my mouth for a moment incase I inhaled some, but when it was over, I searched in my hair to show husband, and nothing, on my clothes, nothing. Being the size that they were you would have thought some would have been at least caught in my hair or clothes.
I can't even imagine what just happened here, but it was beautiful.

You can see a few top left, but there were thousands, I don't know why they didn't all show up.

It's funny that,as this was happening I had the warmest feeling inside like the trees were welcoming us, like mother nature was giving us a hug, it was a beautiful feeling, and hence the title of the post.

As you can see with the below pictures, there were only orbs, but one was bright green, I am going to go with a nature spirit because of the above pictures.

Can you see the green orb in the middle under the bridge,it has a light of it's own?

Kind of a funny place it looks, but if you think about it, it could be close and have the appearance of distance.

That's all I have. There are many scenic pictures, and lizards, it was a beautiful spot visually, and I don't know if it was just because of the welcome that we got, but I felt it was a magical place.
Hopefully will definitely be back!

Old Train Tunnel

This outing was kind of a lucky strike. We had heard some crazy stories from many sources, so we kind of expected something, even in the day, did not expect it to be available to go in legally, was just going to take pictures from outside, but it turns out, during the day it is open.

Many many pictures, and these are just the pick of the bunch... as always they have been reduced to 30% size for speedier uploading.

I felt something as soon as we walked past the boom gate to the tunnel, esp right at the entry.
here are select few pictures.

Husband was getting a ton of "orbs"but I tend to discount most unless they are illuminated under a light of their own, and I usually like to back it up with something I felt.
As you can see on the 1st picture above and the pictures following, the camera was having a great old malfunction.. haven't had any problems with either camera till now.

I did get when we were just getting ready at home to go to the local park to take pictures, that we would get something, I said to husband they were on me already... who knew we would end up going all the way to the tunnel AND it being open.

 

It was about here that I finally listened to the name, and got something like jimmy, Jiminy something like that, I called out to hubby to tell him and in camera viewfinder actually saw a huge ball of light behind him, didn't catch it to what I saw though...must work on trigger finger

The previous pictures are 2 consecutive pictures taken to show movement of orb and last an extreme close up, if you look you can see the face, to me it looks as if he has a beard.

Just a quick note on this, it's funny that I got a mans name, and the most loud and obvious EVP we caught on the video was that of a man yelling.

This last one, to the left you can see a white line, like a streak of electricity, I was going to post consecutive before and after pictures immediately after one another but as this is a picture heavy post already decided against...There was nothing, not even a hint of it in any other picture, an absolute anomaly.

This was caught as we were leaving.

We did stop by another historic site but I'll do that short post on another entry...

Picton Cemetary part 2

We went out to go to the Casula Powerhouse but found it closed, took a few pictures around the outside, but nothing seen.

With the whole afternoon still open and husband excited about what we got at Picton last time, it was off to Picton again.

I think one of the fantastic things about going is having an idea of where to look, like last time, smelling the roses and capturing the evp where I smelt them of a man saying Rose;
ON a quick side note, the EVP's posted you really have to hear through ear phones, or up very loud.

So this time I kept getting they were hiding in the trees, while we don't restrict to those places, I certainly do pay a bit more attention to them, and this time it worked out... again.. ok enough babble on to the pictures!

See the face? husband was trying to argue that it was breaks in the foliage where the light was shining through, but as you can see in the original, this area the foliage was dense.

This.. I have no clue, but it's creepy!.. It's just a shadow blob, and it's between both grave stone, you can still make out the corner of the grave faintly, behind it that it is obscuring, so it is semi transparent around the edge. Maybe it will explain what the next capture is....

I have no idea what it is, I first thought the sun shining behind the trees on a bush, but it has a glow around it, and it's only in one particular spot, it seems to be a face with a bushy beard and long hair... I keep thinking an Angel, but who knows?  I can tell you it was the first picture I found something on, but left till last because it was so unusual and beautiful.

There were more picture with a more "maybe" status which I didn't post, mainly in the trees again. It's also funny that the evp's husband caught on the tape were of children voices, mainly playing, and the majority of captures were in trees.

Again, like every time we thanked for being allowed to walk among and having us, and many times told the boys they should go home, they shouldn't be here.
It's the sad thing I find about these things is that some people are still around, while it's great to capture stuff, I would much prefer them to be at peace and happy.. but who knows, maybe they are and just visiting? I'm def no medium etc..

Picton Cemetery

The sky was clear, it was warm and towards the middle of the day, there was a breeze around but didn't seem blowy at all in the cemetery, more protected.

We took with us a new camera, multi spectrum, and the usual digital camera.
On the multi spectrum video we caught a light ball appear from no where above a grave and shoot into the ground, but we haven't figured how to load it on, but it was so quick, even slowed down it was quick.

On the video camera's audio we also caught a voice saying "Rose", which was sooo funny in itself, as I kept saying to husband that I smelt roses in this particular spot, and when we heard the EVP, it was exciting to match it up with me smelling the roses.. but THEN.. to make it even more exciting, husband went to same time slot on video to see where it was said, and YES! It was caught exactly in the area where I was smelling the roses.. and no there were no fresh flowers anywhere and no where else in the graveyard did I smell them, I even went away and came back and the smell was still there.

OK apparently I can't work out how to upload MP3 files either... have to home assignments for this week.

There were two pictures that were unusual, I have included the original, and the zoomed in versions.

It's funny that it's at child's height when apparently two young boys are supposed to be attached here.

As you can see it was zoomed in heaps; This was when we very first arrived, I have lowered the pixels so it wouldn't take an hour to upload.

To the left there is like a blue/grey mist type thing, no idea what it was, there was no fog etc

Again the original, and again I have lowered the pixel quality for speed of upload, but as you can see, it has been zoomed in a great deal.This was as we were leaving.

That's all, though we were only there for 30 Min's or so, and the Smelling of the Roses, which was REALLY strong, then to pick up an EVP in the same spot where I was smelling them, was amazing!

And on leaving said thank you for having us (to the "residents") and respect and to sleep restfully.

On an off note, I saw rubbish scattered around, being that these graves are most from the 1800's and just the sheer beauty of the area and the church, why would people be so disrespectful?
Personally, if you have the privilege of attending places, any places, where spirits may be wandering or not, be respectful, don't walk, sit, touch all over things, remember you are a visitor.. if you want to  destroy something, destroy your own home.

All in all, Picton is a sweet little town, bigger than I thought, and the drive there was amazing, like my husband said, the hills surrounding looked like the Styrofoam hills you get in model sets... there were a few antique and old wars stores with decent affordable pricing and a beautiful old pubs to lunch at.
I wish I had have done more research as to places to take pictures at, but I am more than thankful and excited at what we got in the time we got, now just to work out how to post mp3's etc ;))

Cockatoo Island

What an amazing full day out!
I must admit didn't get that many things to "make you go hrrrm", but I am sure they are there!
I was more focused on the listening to the self guided tour, the history, on the headphones you can hire, than to be feeling for the paranormal.

There were however 2 spots that, even with the distraction of the tour, still stood out, and these two places there are actual things on the picture.

There has been no editing to the picture as usual other than one was reduced in size (so it wouldn't take a week to upload) and both had my watermark thing on them.

What do you think?:)

 As soon as we entered this tunnel there was an intense pain in my head, I told husband to take some pictures in here but nothing on his camera, I also took one with mine and this curved light/mist?

We were just walking past this field and it felt like people were whispering in there, so I told my husband to take some pictures... he took this one and that's it.. if you look to the tent on the left there is like a pink, I thought maybe it was a fault with the tent or something after looking at the picture, but if you enlarge it, you can see the pattern in constant even to around the corner, which would lead me to believe that it's not on the actual tent... we have gotten a few pink marks like this on pictures from different places we have been from different cameras, I don't see that many coloured mists on proper paranormal investigators sites,so I always try and discount it.. no idea!
All I can do is point to where I feel stuff and have husband shoot.

As I said, it was a wonderful day out and thoroughly recommend, with or without seeing what you can find, the self guided tour took all my attention and I can't wait to get back there to actually feel properly for stuff.

Update on Liverpool libary experience

I wrote back here in 2010 Hark the Herald Angels sing and lights 
About a book that was trown from a shelf onto the floor in front of me at Liverpool Libary.
I never really thought that much more about it, as I do all the other experiences I have, but on searching for any stories as to wether Coles Casula was haunted, I found this from Liverpool Council

Another legendary ghost story is of the literary ghost that haunts in the upper floor of
the Liverpool Central Library. The ghost only makes itself heard in the late evening and
is a loud and noisy ghost. The noises suddenly stop whenever someone goes to
investigate the noises

Well this was the upper floor, and was "noisy"but it was certainly not late evening and while no-one was around me in the isle, I was not alone in the libary.
 ha, sent little chills when I read it last night, I really had no idea!!

On another note, I don't like to talk about what happens at home, and plenty of things do, I don't try and capture etc because, well I have to live here.
Last night though, not only did I see a shadow coming from the hallway light being reflected on my wall, like someone walked past the light coming in through my door; but also,
much later when I went to bed I woke up to a hand on my breast, I didn't see anything, just felt it, unmistakable... the light was on after that?!!!I was petrified.
Not at my house thankyou!!

Coles Casula?

Anyone had any experiences here.
First time shopping there yesterday and looked up to see a huge light hanging from the ceiling swinging madly.
No, others around it were swinging, there were no air conditioning ducts close by, not that they would make them swing as they were, nor was there any way to reach them that a passing customer could have jumped up to make it swing, I could find no explanation, unless there was someone in the roof, but then, why were none of the others around it swinging also?

Old Government House Sydney Australia

 This is going to be a text heavy post.

Old Government House in Sydney      is a beautiful old building with the "oldest in Australia" of quite a few things.
There are plenty of reasons to visit Old Government house, which you can click through to the website above. Just for the history should be enough! But the as the website describes the gorgeous house much better than I ever could, I will stick to the "paranormal" side of it, as my little blog suggests.

The Trust runs ghost tours on the 3rd Friday of every month. I have not been on one "yet" so can not give details. But if you are planning on going on a day tour simply to see if you can catch anything, let me say cameras etc are not allowed inside the house; But I can say the tour and history and feel are very worth it. To be taken back to times past is wonderful.

Warning:This is an account of my "feelings" and nothing more, there are no pictures etc to back it up. And no-one else there felt anything that was shown. It's just my silliness.

This is also a summation of only what I felt and the places involved, to experience the history, take the trip to see, it is beautiful!

Outside on front porch:
We were standing outside on the front porch, while a fantastic guide told us the history and specifics and I saw a shadow in the very first window looking to the left of the front door. I had no creepy feeling etc, so it could have been anything, but there was a shadow of something in the front drawing room window.

Drawing room
There were no real feelings in this room other than I couldn't get out of my head that the piano should be by the front of the room because " I can't read the music there"..(where it was in the back)
Like I said there were no "feelings" associated with this room, so it was probably just my head being silly.

Colonnade:
As soon as we walked out into the hallway from the drawing room, it was like diving into the fog, I felt sick and dizzy etc like your underwater. As soon as we left there I was fine.

Kitchen:
In here I just felt really really happy, like I wanted to laugh and giggle and have fun, I have no idea why as it was only a kitchen.. but just recording my feelings..

Colonnade or hallway:
We come back into the hallway where there was a painted blind and lots of plants, through a south door. Here I felt the worst of all the places, I felt sick, like I was underwater, off balance, I had to stop myself from crying, I just felt like crying really bad, and there was a pain in my left shoulder, and I was cold sweaty. This was a really strong place.

Breakfast Room
Here I felt underwater, but not sure if it was left over from the hallway, I did however see a bright flash of white light as I turned around to look at the door to the hallway being closed. Like the light was in the door and got shut out/in as it closed.?

The Store room:
The last place I felt anything was what is called the store room. It was a similar feeling to when we walked into the hallway straight out of the drawing room. It was the underwater feel, but not the sadness, a creepy like, scary feeling.. didn't like that room at all.

There was a little bedroom that was dark and creepy looking, but no feelings associated with it.
And as far as I could tell, no-one else in the large group we had, felt anything either, so it is safe and fun to go see.
It's a pity we could not take pictures, so I had some to back up what I was feeling, but I am still so happy we went, just to soak up the history of the place. Gorgeous!

What does Anagantios being said to you mean? please?

I have had a Wry neck again, been doing the exercises and taking the pain meds, still hurts.
Physio said they usually go within 48 hours.. not really..I had a nagging stupid feeling like I was being told something like I was supposed to be listening, so this morning I thought fuck it, it's not going to hurt, so I sat and meditated.. I had the sun rays of light in my eyes rather than the dense light, then it went to like a dark ball and a light ball chasing each other, like spinning, then someone said something like Anna ganaious. I thought it was two words as it was said it was pronounced, but I can't remember exactly now, but the closest I can find on the net is that word above, and it seems to mean many different things, I don't understand?...just more crazy me ...

Would love to know any thouts on what this was... just how crazy am I? :)

The Orange Flame, Orange apparition or Orange ghost

As I have said before, it's not unusual to see shadows of all kinds out of the corner of my eye, even while watching TV, I will also see coloured spots of blue, however last night was the scariest thing I have ever seen and even thinking about it before, trying to find out what it was not only scares the hell out of me but makes me cry a little... I know baby I am.

Short and sweet...

I was lying on the lounge watching TV, it was a hot night, and my kitty came up on the chair beside the lounge and was trying to crawl in under the blanket laid over the arm of the chair, I thought it was strange but just put it down to him playing... I mean it was a hot night, he never crawls under blankets on hot nights.

It was around 11.09 pm or just before that, directly to my left, in the corner of the room a big orange flame, I am talking as tall as the roof. It was not a little flicker but bright. It was also so clear, it was directly left of me, while it is peripheral, it is still very clear and noticeable.

I of course jumped up after a few seconds of shock, and turned on the light and was petrified. Started saying into the air like a crazy lady, " what did I do to make you scare me like this?", I wanted to call my husband at work and tell him about it , but was too scared to talk about it... petrified!

Has anyone else seen a big flame? Am I going bonkers? The only thing I can find so far googling was some "Virgin" seen outside a church by a papal committee and a whole town... There wouldn't be anything all big and religious visiting my little house!!

Mind you also, when I looked under the blanket to check on my kitty, as it was strange behaviour and to see if he noticed anything, he wasn't curled up asleep, he was just sitting there awake... strange...

I must be loosing it maybe?

EDIT: after telling my husband about it last night, I forgot to mention here that the TV started acting up also... like the signal was being lost.

Hark the Herald Angels sing and lights

first up, I have said many times about how I see shadows flashing past and in the corner of my eye, I also see lights.
Last night while laying in bed, There kept being just little lights flying up in the same spot, they would stop when I looked at them directly but it I just watched from the corner of my eye, it was like little fireflies flying upwards... who knows??? First sign of crazy I reckon!! ha ha

OK now to today's story, which is another "I have no freaking clue" maybe if I could get my head clear enough.. nah it still sounds crazy!@ lol :

I was in the Library today and was walking through an isle and from a shelf flew a book straight into the middle of the isle I was in.
because of the how far it flew I though someone would have had to push it from the other side of the shelf.. there was no-one there.
I keep making excuses in my head, maybe I just knocked it somehow, even though a simple knock would have never sent it that far into the isle.
To tell the truth I have no idea?! But I didn't really want to think about it till after I left there.

You ask " so what was the book?"
This is the stupid thing... it was a Christmas book called " Hark the Herald Angels sing"

LOL no idea what that is about, strange though, I am just doing some googling and found a "lost verse":

Bare Island

I have not posted in like forever, I know! It just seemed that there were so many other blogs out there reporting what was new around the net, that it didn't seem worth it, I decided to use this blog for original thoughts, pictures, experiences etc. Kind of like what I have been doing anyway.
It will still remain intermittent only postings, if you do not use a reader I am more than happy to add your email to the subscriptions, but you must email from the email you wish listed. :)

Ok onto our Bare Island trip. From a ghosty type, point of view, I was most interested in this old Military site because at one stage it was a retirement home for retired war veterans. The ones with no place to go, I would imagine that this place would have been such a refuge that maybe they did not want to leave?
Even if this was not the case, it was a great tour and I love old places and history anyway ! :)

I have only had a quick look through the pictures and these are the ones I found interesting.

This is in the big ass cannon casement. About every picture we have in this room has the feint orbs in the pictures, I am gathering that these are dust or some sort of airborne particle.
This picture I am posting, is because this was the only one with not only the feint orbs but also two very bright orbs. Not sure what it is, but worth posting. This casement was also used by the resident retired vets for a recreation room.

I really don't know what this is. It is just a random picture, but with a green spot? No idea, but not normal, hence being posted here ;)

This is one of my favourite ones because it has "background", not just a random shot.
On our way out, I felt a bit funny, like someone was watching us all from the guard house, and asked my hubby to take a picture, please ignore the pink tone(he was fooling around with settings), but you can see something a bit "electrical" looking to me? What do you think? Not normal is it?

And the last one, well I have no idea what it is. Prolly nothing. I would love to go back and see the actual window to get a look  at it.
First up I thought it was just a hinge, but hinges usually come in pairs and there is only one. Also I think all the windows in this place were boarded up? (not 100%)
What really gets me is, if you enlarge the picture it is so spot on an animals face, like even you can see the nostrils and pupils of the eyes. Crazy accurate. If it is something else, They have purposefully,  made it look like an animal?lol That's what I think anyway :P

Voices

Just a quick post, so I can record it for myself.
When I went back to bed this morning, whilst going into a half sleep, I could hear muffled voices, like people talking in the next room.
I kept talking to them saying stuff like " I can hear you but not hear what you are saying", and they would go quite then talk again.
I think I got some bits, and I think it was man and a woman, It was a little bit freaky, but I was scared.
But as I sit here and write this I am getting goose bumps and getting scared just remembering it.

It wasn't just that there were the voices, muffled in the other room? It was also that when I was talking to them in my head, it was like they were interacting with me, I think I even heard them, when they were talking to each other, say "she" a few times and I knew it meant me... like they were trying to encourage me...

ok I am all shivery scared...I don't really like either of the "what it could be's"... either I am going mad, or "some people" are trying to talk to me.. spooky!!

EDIT: Ohhh I forgot to mention that while this was happening the back of my head toward the base was sore, not sore enough to rub, but hurting enough to notice it.

And when I say that it sounded like people in the next room muffled, it was more like people on TV in the next room muffled, it was a little bit different sounding.?
Just trying to be exact and as factual as I can :)
