Long story short... I really believe there are people watching out for you.. or the universe.. or something. Whenever I am "saved" from something, be it small or big, or whenever I see something nice.. hell whenever I just see something that the universe had a hand in, I always say thank you.
Today was not a nice day, my brother who is on medication for schizophrenia, called me this morning to let me know that his little dog (my mother's dog who has crossed over), was in hospital again.
He has been in and out a whole lot lately and while he has tablets to take every day, I was fearing that the poor little guys body must have had enough and he was just trying like crazy to hang around for my brother (he was his only little mate).
I tried to prepare my brother for this outcome, explaining that it is selfish of us to have them keep themselves here, when they are suffering, and my brother didn't want to see him suffer, I said that he should have a talk with the Vet and see what they thought, but to think of him rather than himself.
He actually understood, I think.
After the call, I said my little talk to the universe asking that our little furry family member be not in pain any more, if they could let him know it is ok to go, and ask my mother who has passed, to come and take him with her so he is no longer suffering.
......A few hours later my brother called me, saying that the Vet had called him, and our little buddy did not make it. I can't say that I was not sad, even if it was selfish of me, he was a beautiful little guy, but I also said a "thank you" to the universe for answering and / or agreeing with what I had asked earlier.
Later that day when we got home, I asked my mother (who is on the other side) to look in on my brother and make sure he was ok, let him understand that his doggie is happy and pain free now...
I called my brother later that night explaining to him how happy little doggie is now, and that he would be ok, and told him about how I asked the universe and mum, to come and get little doggie so he would not suffer any more, I did not say anything at all about asking mum to check in on him.....
after telling my brother that, he said, that afternoon when he sat down to watch some TV, that he heard mum telling him "he is ok now, he is with us", and he swears he was not crazy or hearing things. I still did not tell him how I had asked if mum could look in on him then. I also said thank you again.
Later that afternoon, even though we are paying quite a few things off ourselves, my husband and I came to the idea to help pay off some of the Vet bill for my brother, not because we are "bailing him out" not because he is only on a pension, but just because that he was grieving and it was the right thing to do, even at our expense. We were sure that we were going to lose a couple of hundred $$'s, but it was the right thing to do.
...... I called the Vet and asked about how much money was left on the bill (seeing my brother had said earlier in a passing comment how expensive it had all been), and the lady said nothing.
I said thank you to the universe again.
The last little story.. I went out to put our car away in the garage. I know people think cockroaches are disgusting, but they are alive, and well... while outside, not interfering with me I let them be.
So, I get into the car about to drive it into the garage and spot the cockroach on the ground in the garage; my legs being so sore from working out yesterday I was so tempted to just ignore it and hope he got out of the way, but knowing it was wrong, I got up, walked all the way in, couldn't move him out of the way so went to get the dustpan.. what do you know?
.........As I bent down to get the dustpan I notice the power supply to the laptop on the ground still yesterday from where I had left it because it was so hot. If I had not gone and helped the cockroach and just been lazy, or even risked hurting it by kicking it out of the way rather than the dustpan, I would have run the power supply over, and being as old as it is, would prolly have had to buy a whole new lap top , as it was irreplaceable.
I thanked the universe again.
You know.... most people would just say they are all funny coincidences, and if each had happened on different days, just about everyone would. But that is what my life is made up of, these funny coincidences, and whether they are coincidences or the universe making things right, does it really matter?
All that matters is that it happened, and for whatever reason, shouldn't we just be thankful, to see the small miracles, coincides atc that happen every day and be appreciative of them?
So maybe next time while you are doing the dishes and a knife falls on the ground, say thank you, remember that knife may have fallen point down and through your foot. :)

Alien abduction apparently
Just posting because it was out there. I don't know what I think, I don't think I really think anything, I just read it.... (that's a whole of of thinks!) :P
In an exclusive feature interview with Joseph Montaldo, International Director of ICAR – the International Community for Abduction Research – on the exopolitical implications of abduction research affirmed that alien abductions are largely done by hyperdimensional amphibian-reptilian intelligent aliens and their cybernetic allies the Grays.Click on the text to be taken to the rest of the story :)

Angels can't fly... fairies and dragons too!
LOl this guy must have been so bored! I mean this is a full 7 page paper on why these mythical beings can't fly.
If you believe in Angels, I don't think you are really going to worry if, by our laws here on earth, they can't fly... Shit! They are Angels... I am sure they can do many many things that we here on earth can't do.
Never the less, if the title of this blog post interested you, the paper written by By Professor Roger S. Wotton for the Opticon magazine is worth the read.

ME? Well I am just going to keep believing because that it was the fun of make believe is. :).. or faith as some religious people would say.

One of the myths is that of flying beings. Angels, putti, fairies and dragons are all shown as
having wings, an otherwise naturalistic form that we recognise readily. Yet, are they able to fly? If
not, why do we wish to suggest they have the same powers of flight as real flying animals?
ME? Well I am just going to keep believing because that it was the fun of make believe is. :).. or faith as some religious people would say.
Example of a Ghost not being a Ghost
This is a little bit sad really, but proves the point that while listened to, you can't believe everything you hear. This poor woman would still be thinking that she had been raped by a ghost if her sister had not seen the man.
The victim told prosecutors that she was frozen by the vision of a manlike figure with a white head. Thinking that Liu was in fact a ghost, the woman did not dare to move even as he raped her. Only when Liu spoke to tell her not to be scared did she know that 'it' was a he. Yet she was still too frightened to move.Just click on the text to read the rest of the story from the source. :)
