I don't think anyone reads this, but if you do sorry I have not been updating.
Old Sydney Quarantine station ghost tour
First up.. it was SO totally worth the money!!The place is in a national park right down on the water, you have to park in a car park up the top and are taken down in a bus.
There was plenty of ambiance, as it was lightening and thundering all night.. yay for our luck!
My hubby and I went on the Spirit Investigator tour and it was great! There was quite a few people in our group which let it down a little as there were some jokers ( my hubby was not happy about that), but it's not like they can control who comes.
So we were going to have dinner at the restaurant like is recommended, got there and saw like the food starts from $7 for a side order of hot chips (fries)... so we went to the little cafe and had a cake a coffee for $6.
We got talking to one of the ladies behind the counter and found out that she was out tour guide/medium for the night. Nice lady.
Time came and we were directed into a little room where a little bit of our "training" took place and each little couple of us got an emf meter.
Then the tour took place!
We were guided around a few different places, each with out medium letting us know who was "around" at the time, and in a couple calling out for them to let themselves be known.. I have to say that the weather was totally against it all.
I don't want to go into to much detail about the tour routine and spoil it :)
Highlights of our night:
- In the shower block there was a really strong smell of what they used to wash the people in when they first arrived.
- I was a little but nervous when first walking in, but once in I was fine, I walked straight down the middle them turned left and went down that corridor until I walked through this horrible feeling... just in this one spot I felt really sick and almost like I was going to pass out, I wanted to sit down but had to move away, and when I did it was better.. it was almost like a pocket or something.. my legs were a little shaky for awhile after that... Our medium let the group know who was "in there with us", and I asked about that pocket and she said there was a man walking up and down that isle.
- ps: In the shower block when I felt that sickness and dizziness, a girl right near us her camera went from 1/2 a battery to flat.. she was like "wtf?"... that was pretty cool.(not the feeling sick though)
- In the Autoclaves, I thought I had a spider on one of my calves and kept brushing it away but it kept coming back... I couldn't not see anything, not sure what it was but mentioned it anyway.
- When we went into the dining room I felt really happy... lol no idea..
- Just outside the morgue I smelt this horrible horrible smell... but felt actually ok inside..
- In the cottage I felt there was something in the rear right hand side room in the bath, I tried to get my hubby in quick enough to take a pic, but it had gone (the feeling).. later the medium said that there was a man(ghost) standing outside that room and moving in and out... maybe that was the man I felt there?? who knows we did get a picture of something from there though?
- In the hospital I kept hearing "Nancy" over and over in my head... lol just my imagination I think
- In the shower block I heard Albert, but the medium didn't pick up anything by that name till we got to the Asiatic section where she picked up that name then... prolly just a coincidence as I heard it in a different section.
- In the hospital people down the back of the room where I was first drawn to when we entered, kept hearing someone breathing out, they said.
Here are some pics :)
This is a room in the shower block I had my hubby take a pick of, we later found out that it is known for having cold air rush out of it.. we did not feel anything.
A light spot on the wall in the cottage, my hubby kept feeling like someone was in there, I did too when we first arrived... is it a reflection a dust or an orb, you decide? :)
There are more pics Here and Here :)
